Linked server problems.

Hi,
When trying to open the gui to create a linked server i
get the error 126 with an exception_access_violation. When
I click ok, it opens the linked server window but i don`t
have any data source available.
Any ideas?

Hi Gurus,
I detached a database from my sql server 2000 which happended to be the
default database. Now, I can't log onto the server with my NT login any
more. And, I don't know/remember the "sa" password. Is there any other way

It appears that any machine I have using SQL server 2000
SP3a cannot properly connect to an Oracle Linked server.
Machines that fail to connect are SQL version 8.00.760
(SP3) running Win 2003 and win 2000 they are Dell Severs.
