sql server connect:

On my LAN:

1. W2K Server, SQL Server 2k, is a Distributor
2. W2K Pro, MSDE (with client tools), is a Subscriber

When trying to register the W2k Pro on the W2k Server's
enterprise manager I get "SQL Server does not exist or
access denied [connection.open()]..."

But the odd thing is I can register the W2K Server on the
W2K Pro machine perfectly, just not the other way around.

What's Wrong ?

The error can be caused by a lot of different things. Try
