sql server connect: It looks as if query analyzer on my win2k client uses the ODBC SQL Server
Driver as its commection provider...

Is there a way to change this to use the OLEDB provider?

TIA!

JJ

Not that I know of. But what you can do is define a linked server to many
types of data sources from an existing SQL Server/MSDE installation in
Enterprise Manager (Under the Security section). Then you can do queries
against many types of data sources..

This is correct. Query Analyzer cannot be configured to use OLEDB.
