sql server connect: I have received an message as below:

-2147165949: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL
Server]You must upgrade your SQL Enterprise Manager and
SQL-DMO(SQLOLE) to SQL Server 2000 (SQLDMO) to connect to
this server.

Our DB is running on SQL Server 2000 SP3 and client is
Window 2000 Professional.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Usually, you get this error if you are using SQL Server 7.0 Client Utilities
to connect to SQL Server 2000 e.g. the Enterprise Manager.

Since you haven't mentioned when and how you get this error, my guess is you
are getting this error because you are using older version of the client
utlities. You can install the 2000 version of the client utilities from the
SQL 2000 CD.
