sql server connect:

My sql Mail is properly configured. Every time i use
xp_sendmail , the result set confirms that mail is
sent.When i check my outlook, nothing shows up.

When i go to enterprise Man->SQL server agent->jobs->right
click->properties->Notifications-> assign any one of the
operators to be notified by email and do a test, i get an
error saying:

erro22022:sql sql server error
c:\documents ans settings\sql\server\local
settings\application data\micrososft\outlook\idaho.pst
could not be accessed because another worksation has
modifed it. Close and the restart all mail enabled
applications.

I logged in as SQL Server service and tried to open
Outlook. I cant open my email folders because the
idaho.pst is in use.

I dont know what to do and I cant keep restarting SQL

Hi

You may want to try creating a different MAPI profile under the SQLServer
service account and use that.
