sql server connect: Hello,
system administrator asked me to modify my VB application to authanticate
itself for ISA when wants to connect to an outer sql server.
the system administrator dont want to open fully the port 1433 (from inner
LAN), and also dont want to set my application name at ISA.
Is any way to solve it, by call API's, or something???

I hope that I understand correctly your question.

The most common way to make sure that your application is authenticated is
by using ISA's Firewall client. If you use the Firewall client, then the
your session will automatically contain your credentials, allowing the ISA
administrator to limit outbound access for your user only.

I hope this helps,

Ori.
