Cannot Connect Kole

sql server connect:
[Microsoft ODBC ][SQL Server Driver][SQL server] Login
failed for user '(null)' Reason , not associated with a
trusted SQL server connection.

This is on my (local) server. I tried changing the
settings to where it will accept both windows and SQL
authentication. I created a user account on the server
but cannot sign in with it. gives the same error. I set
up the DSN in ODBC but could not find my databases when I
used local. I had to put the IP address in before I could
find my databases.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? I also would like
to know how to set up a new account that is secure
connection. I have yet to find anytihng in any menus that
lets me establish a secure connection for an account.

Help.

Hi ,

Can you try login to the server using OS level user "Administrator" .After
that try to login to sql server, If it goes smooth. Then login to SQL
server and give previlage to the new OS user you have created.

(Use Security option in Enterprise manager)

Thanks
