sql server connect: What service pack are you running? There was an issue with the Maintenance
Plans that would attempt to put the db in Single User mode when it began if
you had the "Fix Minor Repairs" option checked. The problem was it would not
change it back when done. I believe this behavior was fixed in a later SP.
But if you uncheck that checkbox it will solve that. It is not a good
option to have checked anyway.

Single User mode Morten Snedker

After coming back from the x-mas holidays an employee says "this
database doesn't work!". "This database" was an Access mdb with ODBC
connection to our SQL-server 2000.

It took me hours to determine the problem: the database was in Single
User mode, restricting access to the database.

Is there any way for the server to put a database in Single User mode
by itself (some kind of error occuring)? We are two users with
immediate access to EM and neither of us has performed an explicit
opration to put it into this mode...not that we know of, anyway.
