sql server connect:
I am using MS SQL Server 2000 in a server with Windows Server 2000.
Workstations with Windows XP and Windows 2000 do noy have problems to connect
with, but the ones with Windows 98/second edition/last updates and service
packs cannot do so, specificaly it is impossible to create an ODBC connection
in the corresponding "Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Data Sources ODBC
connections/ section. I understand both OS can co-exist for this. Can you
help me?

Beforehand, thank you very much

Hi,

are you using Windows Authentication for connection, then there could
be a problem that the client cannot send its credentials to the server
(or he has no valid ones).

Thank you for answering. No, I am using SQL Authentication, and check next
option that allows to determine User and Password. Same recomendation, or
something new..?

Once again, thank you very much.
