Hi,

Do you know what actually the DBA change on the instance? Ask your DBA to
verify:-

start the Server Network Utility , and then use the Server Network Utility
to enable the desired Server
Net-Libraries (TCP/IP) if it is disabled. After that restart SQL Server
service and try connecting.

My sql server 2000 has install two instance,one is a named,some days before
it can work well when connect to the database,but as the DBA has change the
instance environment and I can't conncet to the named instance as follow
instruction:
"[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBMSLPCN]Î´ÕÒµ½Ö¸¶¨µÄ SQL Server¡£
"when I use the ASP connenct to the databse,and I am a new,will you please
show me what's the problem?Thanks
