sql server connect: What is the best way to do this? Specifically, the Memberhsip class
database. Maybe that's more of my problem than just copying a database, is
that my database also contains the membership tables, which I really can't
lose as th 40+ users in it would be gone. What's the best solution? is it
possible? Do I need to upgrade the 2000 to 2005?

Thanks,

David Lozzi

David,

Searching around a bit, I found this talked about quite a bit, and the
answer is scripts and SSIS.

Look at thread:
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=722132&SiteID=1

In particular the Sept 13, 06 post by Panos Tzirakis & George Dounavis. (I
read it and it looks pretty good, but I am not going to take the time to run
it myself. Be careful, though, to heed the warnings.)
