sql server connect:
Hello,
I am experiencing issues where it appears that SQL Server 2000 is
dropping connections when meta-data is requested from a Cold Fusion 7
server. We have attempted to troubleshoot this error on the application
side and have exhausted all possible scenarios (different drivers,
settings, etc.) We have also contacted Adobe support and they are at a
loss in identifying the root cause. How can I track this on the SQL
Server side? Has anyone experienced this behavior? If so, how have you
been able to resolve it?

Thanks,

Hello,

Can you execute the SQL Server profiler and see what exactly happen while
you do some thing in cold fusion.

Thanks
Hari

Hi Hari,
Profiler does not yield any results. I have tried to trap pretty much
everything from that specific server and have uncovered nothing. Any
thoughts?

Does profiler even record your application connecting and executing sql
batches or trans? Try network tracing via ethereal or network monitor. Also,
how is your CF app communicating with SQL OLEDB, ODBC native sql client
drivers?
