Greetings -

My company is looking at bringing several of our people up to speed on
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services - Course Number MS2074 or
equivalent......

Can anyone refer us to a Washington, DC-area trainer with whom we
might be able to strike a deal directly? We're also considering
training at an actual training center, and would welcome referrals for
those, too - but I suspect that dealing directly with a trainer might
save us some money and it might be nicer to train at our own offices -
also, our people have varying degrees of expertise, and we're thinking
some minor customization of the course might be helpful....

Many thanks....I will summarize and reply to the group.....

Depending on how many people you have that need trained, I know proclarity
does training on AS and will come to you with enough people. Don't worry I
don't work for them, but I do use their product :)

We brought Tom Chester to our company to do OLAP training.
http://www.tomchester.net/

He does training at Microsoft and wrote the Analysis Services sample
application. His rates are not too bad.

I also use ProClarity and have gone to training in Idaho and their training
wasn't that good in my opinion. Just my opinion.

We also brought in Tim Peterson for DTS training, his rates are very cheap.
Not sure if he teaches OLAP? I know he built some kind of local cube
building
utilities and wrote one of the DTS books.
