sql server data mining:

Hello ,

I have created a scorecard and want to map it to the analysis cubes.

The scorecard has 2 Perspectives whose KPIs are to get their values
from 2 different cubes in analysis services.

The problem is when I go to map the scorecard to the views, I can only
select one cube and use its measures yet my KPIs are to rely on 2
diferent cubes.

How do I do this?

Thanks,
Sam.

To my knowledge, MS Business Scorecards requires all the data to be in
one cube. However this can be a virtual cube.
If you are using Shared Dimensions, you can create a virtual cube
which is a union of the two base cubes, and then link your Scorecard to
the virtual cube.
It is probably a good idea to consider use of a virtual cube anyway
for your Scorecard, even if you are basing the Scorecard on a single
base cube.

Thanks very much Raman,

The virtual cube sorts my problem.

Cheers,
Sam.

It was Duwayne who actually answered the question so the thanks should go to
him - I just forwarded the question :-)
