sql server data warehouse: When adding records that would take a SQL Server
Developer Ed. table over 2 Gb, I get a message
saying "Could not allocate space for object 'MyTbl' in
database 'MyDB' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup if full.
How do I get around this error?

I thought you datamining folks with experience with big
db's might know. I've also manually cross-posted via the
web interface to sqlserver.server.

TIA,

Could you please elaborate on your response a bit? I am trying to add
data to a table that has 30 million + records, and the SQL Server
edition I am using is the Boxed Developer Edition. Everything I have
read totes the boxed edition as equal to the Enterprise edition just
with a single license.

On any update now to my table, I get the error: "Could not allocate
space for object 'mastertable' in database 'masterDB' because the
'PRIMARY' filegroup is full.

Any advice? Please.. Thanks..

Ben
