Hi.

First. Try to apply the solution described in the article using the correct SP.

Second. Take a look in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OLAP Server\CurrentVersion

Maybe changing the MaxOLEDBTimeout key you may find the answer for your question.
Remember. You must restart the Analysis Server before changing the registry.
Backup your registry first.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. But this does not resolve the problem, there's
already a timeout after 3 minutes.
The value you told is set to "1000000".

Hi.

If you changed the registry. Try to restart your AS server now.

Sorry I told you to restart BEFORE changing the registry, but you have to do this AFTER changing the registry.

You may find more information here.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnsql2k/html/sql2k_anservregsettings.asp

I hope it may help.
