sql server data warehouse: SQL magazine ran an article called "Member properties bootcamp" which talked
about various ways to use member properties even if you don't have member
property support with your tool. Check out: the July 24, 2003 issue.-- use
www.sqlmag.com and search for "member properties".

Dimension Properties in Excel 2K Pivot Table Jérémie Gent

Hi!

I use Excel Pivot Tables as OLAP Cube Browser, for cubes which are on an SQL
Server Analysis Services Server.
This works fine and I'm hapy with it, but some of my cubes contain dimension
properties, that only Excel 2003 can show, and my company's unfortunately
working with Office 2000, Excel 2000 doesn't handle the dimension
properties.

Does anyone know an Add-in or something I could install for Excel 2000 to
access the dimension properties as well?

Or

Does anyone know a free asp web cube browser such as
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/thankyou.aspx?familyId=d13da3cd-d84e-45a1-8f12-3bfb326ea53b&displayLang=en
(ASP, not ASPX if possible) but a little more enhanced? (with dimension
properties handling etc.) ?

Or

A version of Office web components that wouldn't need Office 2003? (Not sure
if it solves the problem though as I don't know OWC)

Thank you very much!
