When defining a Data Source in the DTS Import/Export wizard, my local SQL
Server instance, Developer's Edition on XP SP2, is not showing up in the
Server drop down. 'Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server' is selected in
the Data Source drop down. I'm certain it was there yesterday; I pushed some
tables to a test server. Any idea on what happened and how I can fix?

I wouldn't be too concerned. Simply type in the name or if it is local type "localhost"
without the quotes

When I enter (local) or (localhost), with or without the parentheses, i get:

[DBNETLIB] [ConnectionOpen (Connect()).] SQL Server does not exist or access
is denied.
