sql server dts:
Hi All,

I am using DTS to connect to an oracle db to pull back data from a view,
import some spreadsheets and do some data transformations and manipulations.

It's all working fine on my development machine. But when I copy the dts to
the Test Server and open it in DTS Designer I receive a error window with the
window title of "DTS Designer Error" and for the error message I get a whole
load of boxes. So I can't even tell what error I'm getting.

It also seems if all of the connections have been reset. If I then open any
of the connections, change/fix them and then click OK the window won't close
so I can't save my changes (the cancel button works.)

Has anybody seen this before - I searched the web but havn't found anything
similar.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance.
Jerry.

Sorry forgot to mention MS Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000
- 8.00.2039 (Intel X86) and MDAC 2.8 RTM

Thanks

Tried creating a new package on the server, duplicating your dev package ?
I have a problem at the moment with a missing data provider which can't be
re-installed but at least it tells me this in the error message.
