How to pass SourceConnectionFlatFile from a variable?

sql server dts:

Hello,

In my Data Flow Task, I have a Flat File source that I would like to use a
variable. How do I accomplish that? I tried it in Advanced Editor &
Connection Managers, but not sure where I could slide my variables for it to
be recognized.

Any help is appreciated,

Hello Lawrence,

The fact you mention Connection Managers makes me think this is SSIS and
not DTS so my response will be based around that assumption.

From the name of the variable it seems you want to change the name/location
of the Flat File Connection Manager.
