sql server dts:

Dear all,

I am trying to import some data from Excel to SQL 2000 table. There is a
column which contains integers, before the data import, I changed the cell
format of the whole column to "Text". The data type in the sQL table is char
already. However, some cells values are still not imported to the SQL
table...... What the problem is? Can anyone advise? Thanks in advance

Hi,

If the types of your source do not match your destination you can use the
"Data Conversion" transformation.
