Is it possible to deploy and view SSIS packages as DTS in sql 2005 EM legacy
components.?

You can only try and convert DTS packages to SSIS, but the other way around
is not possible via any wizards. But you can import DTS packages from a SQl
2000 server into your SQl 2005 server and thats what would appear in your
Legacy folder.

Why do you want to view an SSIS package as a DTS package? Or do you want
to view SSIS packages like you viewd DTS pakages i.e. in EM/SSMS?

SSMS is a management tool and not a design tool. That job falls to BIDS
