sql server full text search:

Hello Everyone,

We did not have install the MSSearch engine at the time we
had installed SQL Server 2000.
Now that we need the search engine we decided to install
it.
After we installed, we tried to start the search engine
and we got Error 7609:
"Full-Text Search is not installed, or a full-text
component cannot be loaded."

What did go wrong?
Please help!

Mitra,
Did you recently apply SP3 to this SQL Server 2000 installation? Checkout
the workarounds in the following KB article:

This was recently posted as a solution to the same problem after applying
SP3 in this newsgroup.
