sql server full text search: Hi all
My Fulltext Populating speed decreases progressively.
Thus I set Resource_usage to 5, but Populating didn't use
100% of Cpu and Ram (estamated:40%).
I think that the problem's cause is I/O rate.
Can i have Fulltext catalogs On Ram for increasing the
speed?

Could you provide additional information on your SQL Server version (7.0 or
2000) as well as the OS Platform information via:

SELECT @@version
SELECT @@language

as well as your server's hardware configuration (number of CPU's, RAM,
number of disk drives) as well as where you have the FT Catalogs located
relative to your database base files. See SQL Server 2000 BOL title
"Full-Text Search Recommendations" for more info.
