sql server misc : SQL Server 2005 runtime license question

Hi

We are a startup company and we are working on a product built on the
..Net 2.0 framework. This product will have a front end desktop
interface and we want to use SQL Server 2005 as the back end. We are
trying to figure out what would be the cheapest way of getting a SQL
Server license so that we can distribute the SQL Server runtime with
the product. So when the customer installs the product it installs the
win app and the database runtime. The customer will not use the
database to add new tables or modify the existing table structure. The
customer will also not sql server for any other purpose other than
accessing information from the front end Win app application. How much
does this license cost approximately?

Can someone please guide us? We have been trying to resolve this since
quite some time.

Thanks
Jens

You don=B4t need any runtime licenses, you can use SQL Server Express,
which is free of charge. YOu can download it and deploy it along with
your applications.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that our application needs more
than the 4 GB limit imposed by SQL Express and hence we are looking at
the other options.

Just to add on to the previous note, we want to avoid the option of
creating multiple databases and splitting information across them
