I have trired with Switch /L*v "c:\msdeLog.txt" setup.exe create msdelog.txt
file but my setup hang on particular 26%. Can you gime your email address so

I solve the problem because of starting MYSQLSERVER service when installing
lastly but not all PCs do so that I have tested to installed 4 PCs.

sql database in loading state when restore disrupted

When I am doing restore from files to database, I got netowrk connection
error , I restore it again and I cancel it when deciding to do it later then
the database is just in loading state for ever.
Does anyone know how to clear this and resolve this?

I have installed msde (almost teh latest version) on win2003 server, the
version that came with sage 10, it seems to install fine, the icon by the
clock is green. the program will not connect to it. It works ok when
installed on win2000 server & win2000 prof.

Just to report what I did in case it can help someone else.
Just attaching a 20GB database with sp_attach_db to MSDE did not work.
However, the following approach worked: In MSDE, I created a blank
database with the same file names as the 20GB database I was trying to

database. and you do not access the files directly. With Access, you can use

You can use a SQL statement to import the data that has a RTRIM() in it for
that column or you can use a custom conversion in the ETL package. Is this
DTS or SSIS?
