Second install of MSDE with WSUS

I already have WSUS running on a win2003 SP1 machine. I am trying to install
a second instance which will be used for WebSenseReporting, however, about

I have MSDE 7.0 running on a Blackberry Enterprise Server 3.6 with Exchange
5.5. I need to upgrade the database to MSDE 2000 before I upgrade the server
to BES 4.0. How can I accomplish this?

I have a problem with the sp4 installation. The first time I tried it
it stalled about midway through the installation and I canceled it. Now
I can't get the installation started, it gets as far as "Gathering

backups could be done by simply copying the .mdf and .ldf files. Its that
enough? I don't have to run sqlmaint to produce the .bak files? and then
