Using XML with MSDE 2000 -- sql server msde

I work on an application that uses MSDE 2000 as its
database. Is it possible for client software written
in .NET to execute stored procedures that return XML?

Does MSDE 2000 support XML? If so how? MSDE 2000 is
packaged with the application and is part of the
installer. Is there any information about deploying MSXML
or whatever is necessary for supporting XML in MSDE 2000?

Yes, MSDE 2000 supports XML. For more information about implementation see
the Books On Line under XML and OPENXML.
