hi Dan,

yes, you can without problems..
unpack the SQLEXPR.exe binaries to the preferred folder using the /X
parameter
c:\...\>SQLEXPR.exe /X
and then, from the add/remove programs applet just modify the desired
instance installed services...

Installing Replication in SQL Server Express danrostron

Hi

I am wanting to install the replication features in SQL Server Express 2005.

I currently have the default installation on the server with a few
databases, and data which is being used in live websites.

I now have a need to install the replication features, however I do not wish
to disturb any of the databases I currently have setup. Can I just install
the replication feature over the top? Will it remove all data that is
currently in the databases?

Thanks in advance.
