SQL Server Express 2005 and remote connections ? Peter Stojkovic
12/13/2006 12:00:00 AM
sql server msde: I have installed SQL Server Express 2005

I have read, that by default the express edition is set to local connection
only.
Is it possible to switch to local AND remote for the express edition 2005 ?

These should help:

Configuration -Configure SQL Server 2005 to allow remote connections
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;914277

Configuration -Connect to SQL Express from "downlevel clients"
