SQLExpress re-distribution clarification VC

sql server msde:
Hello:

I have an application that uses SQLExpress as the backend database server. I
am planning on re-distributing sql express along with my application. One of
the re-distribution options that I am planning is to have sql express be
installed from my web site using click-once. The typical user experience
will be like this: User will run my app's setup and on one of the wizard
steps the user will be re-directed to a web site which will guide him with
sql express installation. At the end of express installation, my app's setup
will resume & will complete the installation. One of the caveats with this
redistribution option is that the user can cache the url for sql express
download/install page and use it for future installation without even
installing my app. So I'm concerened if this method of distribution is
allowed or not. Please clarify.

Thanks.

I do not want the users to download SQL Express from Microsoft site.
I want them to download SQL Express from my site so that I can control the
installation via Click-Once.
I have registered for re-distribution rights.

hi,
[quoted text, click to view]

I'm not sure about the problem, if it exists at all or not... you are
redirecting to Microsoft Web site... and SQLExpress is free to download and
install.. you are just required to register (for free) for redistribution
rights, but "your users" can actually download and install SQLExpress
without installing your app as they like..
