Hi,

I wonder if it is allowed to use SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager to manage all
of the MSDE installatie we have?
We have a SQL 2000 server. But the MSDE database used on some laptops have
nothing to do with the SQL Server.

No, that's specifically disallowed in the license agreement.

AFAIK, you are not allowed to administer MSDE (production servers) via
Enterprise Manager...
you have to rely on third party tools, bot free and or commercila, as listed
(for example) at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/msde/partners/ and
http://www.aspfaq.com/show.asp?id=2442
