Waiting for Recovery? How long?

sql server msde:

We attached a database yesterday that has a 2.5GB LDF file. However,
this morning, no matter what we attempt to do with the database (even
just view the properties of the database) we are met with a dialog that
says (among other things)...

"Database 'BlahBlah' is being recovered. Waiting until recovery is
finished."

It's been nearly 14 hours -- and it's still in recovery.
Any way to tell how long this will take or is there a way to view it's
status/progress?

Hello,

You will have to wait until the recovery completes. What version of SQL
server yo are using?

Also please tell us the approach u used to attach the database..
