Hi there,

I was just wandering if it is possible to send e-mail through MSDE. I
have several jobs running on the MSDE instance that i would like e-
mail notification for when they are completed.

I dont seem to be able to set up an SQL Mail profile as it is greyed
out.

Any help on this matter would be much appricated.

MSDE dow not support mail at all.. you can, perhaps, subsititute it with an
SMTP replacement, available as an external extended stored procedure
provided by Mr. Gert Drapers, available for free at
