sql server mseq: Hi,
I am new to MS SQL server. I installed the sql server 2000 evaluation
edition on my PC( Windows XP Pro,SP 1). I can work with enterprise
manager without any problem but I cannot open the SQL Query analyzer.
When I click the query analyser ( either from start manu or from the
tools box of enterprise manager) the hour glass appears and disappears
without opening the query analizer. I have deinstalled/ reinstalled the
software but there is no change. I have downloaded sql2ksp3 and
installed that too, but no change.

Please help....

You need to go to the Control Panel and Click Administrative Tools the
Click on Datasources ODBC and click the tab for Tracing and Click Sto
Visual Studio Analyzer.

You may now open up SQL Query Analyzer.
