sql server mseq:

I am working in EXCEL 2003, to access external data through MS Query. I am
writing code in the SQL query edit pane,. My query and case statements are
large. The SQL query edit pane will not accept additional test. Is there a
limit to the number of characters / size for an SQL query in MS Query? If
so, can it be adjusted to accomodate additional text?

Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bobby,

I have tried adding as much text as I can to the SQL pane in MS Query
and it went up to 29,996. I do not think that your query is that
complex (9 A4 pages!). I'm using Excel 2003 SP2. Have you tried it one
another machine. Maybe there's something wrong with the Office installation.
