Assuming you are referring to an upgrade from SQL 2000 Standard edition to
SQL 2000 Enterprise edition, the answer is yes.

Hi,

Yes, you can. All you have to do is insert the Enterprise Edition CD and
Click setup and choose Upgrade options. This will automatically upgrade the
sql server to Enterprise edition. There is detailed topic in books online
about the version upgrades, Have a look into that.
