MSDE: attach database help -- sql server new users

Hi..
I'm very new to MSDE and I need to know if some things are possible to
do and how.
1). how to attach a database if I have a database file x.mdf and x.ldf
without using osql tool?

1) You can download the SQL Server Web Data Administrator from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=C039A798-C57A-419E-ACBC-2A332CB7F959&displaylang=en,
although I am not sure if it actually has that functionality. Other options
are 3rd party administration tools like SQLLite.
