sql server new users: What is the best way to monitor the database file growth? I need to setup an
alert to email or page me when the datafile gets close to full. I see in the
alerts you can create a SQL Server performance condition - SQL Server:
Databases - Datafile size (KB) - Alert if counter rises above and then set a
value. But wouldn't I have to keep changing that value every time I
increased my datafile? Is there a better way of doing this? I already have
an alert that emails me when a transaction log get a certain % full and
that's great. Any way of doing the same thing for the datafiles?
