SqlConnection Failing Off Network -- sql server new users

Hi

Look at your network routers. Your routers might be configured to close
connections after a xx number of minutes when no activity occurs.

I'm writing a .Net v 1.1 application that connects to a SQL Server 2000
Database using a SqlConnection object. Everything works fine as long as we
are in the same network as the server, but once we connect from a client on a
seperate network the connection fails. We're not really sure what is
