sql server new users: Hello,

We are using MS SQL Server 2000 Enterprise with SP3.

I am getting an error:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Syntax error converting
datetime from binary/varbinary string.

Has anyone come across this error ,and would you share your resolution?

I think you should post more of an explanation.

Are you using some kind of cast function or something?

Can you post the query that you are you trying to perform?

It would help us better assist you if you could include table DDL, query
strategy used so far, sample data in the form of INSERT statements, and an

The less 'set up' work we have to do, the more likely you are going to have
