Can I use SELECT statement to out directly to ASCII?? -- sql server new users

I need to take data TO and FROM SQL Server to a old application

Is it possible tooutput directly using a Select statement??

If you run it as script thru OSQL (or SQLCMD for SS2K5) or use the BCP
utility.
