SAC,
Try using the computer name instead of local and the IP address. Your domain
server should be able to resolve it.
It sounds like there is some funky IP layering or NAT going on. Logon to the
server using Remote Desktop, open a command line window and type the
following:
ipconfig
See if that IP address is the same as the one your using. If not, try that
using that one.
