Not quite clear what you want to do... What do you want to get for
information / suggestions ? Table Designs etc .. ?

No, not really, bu anyway. Parse the string for the semicolumns, write
the chunks into Variables (for debugging purposes) or insert them in
the table on the fly. Perhaps you could clarify your question a bit,
that would make the situation clearer.

Hi,
Any help would be appreciated.
I am looking for information about storing text messages sent by mobile
phone in an Access or SQL Server 2000 database.
Would anyone have articles,tutorials etc on this subject?

as an example ,a sms message using ";" as a delimiter: "David;Kennedy"

I want to be able to store it in a table called "Details" with fields
"FirstName" and "Surname" ie

FirstName Surname
David Kennedy

Does this make it any clearer?

I cant realy make it any clearer than that.
Do you know of any website address that I could get information about
storing SMS messages in SQL or Access databases?
Thats what I really want to know.
