need some help with reporting? _adrian

sql server new users: So, my client says that they need to take existing SQL Server table data,
and export the contents to a tabbed-delimited text flat file. I've been
told that Reporting Svcs can do this for me, and even help email that flat
file to teh client (which would be great!)...

Can anyone confirm this for me, and tell me where I could find a tutorial to
this effect or what steps I would need to take? I know that Reporting Svcs
are installed... thanks-

Adrian,

Reporting Services (in either SQL Server 2000 or 2005) should be able
to produce comma separated value files. As far as I'm aware RS doesn't
support tab-delimited files.

Integration Services in SQL Server 2005 can produce a wide range of
formats in the destination file, including tab-delimited.
