Hi,

We have MS SQL Server installed in a remote serve location. I need to
run some queries on it. One of my colleagues in US uses Client services
version to connect to te server and run queries.

I also want to install the Client services in my computer (Windows XP
Pro). The local IT asked me to download the same from MSDN. I searched
there but couldnt find the same.

I want to know as to whether the full and unlimited CLIENT version is
available freely for download or not (If it is available, I want to
know as to why MS is making it "freely" available.)

Microsoft SQL Server Client Tools are not freely available nor
downloadable.. you can only find them on Microsoft SQL Server installation
CD...
