For some reason, the SQL server that I manage is not starting up. Long ago when I first installed it, it asked me what account it wanted the service to run under. Problems with getting the mirror to run.

I have the three server ready to go. The prinicpal is set, the mirror is set. I have a back up of the prinicipal restored on the mirror and then I have a third server that acts as the witness. In the Windows XP desktop taskbar, I had a convenient icon control for the SQL Server 2000 System Manager in the system tray. Is there an equivalent taskbar icon functionality available in SQL Server 2005 Standard and, if so, how do I install it? Thanks, Charax ...more >>
