sql server new users: Does anyone here read the magazine "SQL Server Professional" by Pinnacle? I
got a sample copy and it seems really informative and well written. It's
expensive though, but if the whole subscription is as good as the trial
copy, I think it would be worth it.

What do developers think? Is it worth it?

Which issue did you get? It was bought out this year, and the editor and
columnists are no longer with the publication. I know - I'm one of the
columnists!

Not sure, but it has a column called "The Median Puzzle" by Alex Kozak. Ah,
there you are too...Dr Tom's Workshop: The Case Against Single-Instance
Clusters.

They were bought out and the editor and columnists are no longer with the
publication? I guess that's what I needed to know...(stay away until further
notice I guess).

Have been getting this mag for a year and it is like most mags of this ilk.
Some months it is very useful, others not so much. I think it is worth it
though.
