SQL Related Error Messages In Event Viewer. John

sql server new users: I have Vista Business with SQLserver2005 and SP2. I am having these two
error messages and would like any help.
This is related to SQL Browser: The configuration of the AdminConnection\TCP
protocol in the SQL instance MSSMLBIZ is not valid.

This is related to MSSQLServerADHelper: '0' is an invalid number of start up
parameters. This service takes two start up parameters.

Any places in the Registry or other suggestions appreciated.

That happens when SQL Browser can't establish the connection
with SQL Server instance using TCP. You'll need to check
around on the box for what the issue is. First thing to
check would be the properties and configurations for the
TCP/IP protocol on the instance - make sure it's not just
Shared memory enabled.

That can come up when the service is set to automatic. The
MSSQLServerADHelper service should be set to manual. SQL
Server will start and stop the service itself when needed.
