I have created a custom control by converting a user control as outlined in
this MSDN article.

The custom control works correctly if I use it declaratively but fails if I
use it programmatically. When I load it dynamically, none of the controls
inside the custom control are instantiated. Any thoughts on solving this
problem would be appreciated.
